Mission
Ibuki Group is a corporate group that stewards Japan's heritage companies and nurtures them into luxury brands celebrated around the world.
Vision
Elegance from Japanese tradition.
From Japanese tradition, we create an elegance the world chooses.
Japanese craft traditions reach back more than a thousand years, and it is said there are over 1,300 distinct forms. The works born from techniques handed down through the ages—lacquerware, textiles, ceramics, and more, shaped by delicate handwork—are crystallizations of mastery and beauty refined over a long history, and they have formed an essential part of Japan's cultural identity.
At the same time, Japanese culture holds modesty and humility as virtues. We believe this very gracefulness is true elegance, and we set out to express this aesthetic in a new form. Across thousands of years, the Japanese have found beauty not only in objects but in the atmosphere of a place and in a spiritual disposition—wabi-sabi, the spirit of wa, fūryū. The aesthetics and philosophies of Japan are endless.
Together with the profound beauty of Japanese tradition, Ibuki Group will redefine elegance and luxury.
Why Ibuki
Japan is home to countless heritage companies—keepers of craft, quality, trust, and an aesthetic sensibility rooted in place. Each one is an irreplaceable inheritance, shaped by generations of human hands and time.
Yet many now stand at a crossroads. Succession shortages, shifting markets, and the difficulty of expanding abroad mean their value too often goes unrecognized.
Ibuki Group takes on these companies, protects what is essential to them, and carries Japanese tradition and culture into the future.
Leadership
Ibuki Group brings together management expertise and a network of specialists across every field to support the succession and growth of heritage companies. We draw on hands-on experience spanning launch, growth, fundraising, organization-building, and IPO to bring the value these companies hold to the world.
