On December 29, 2025, Ibuki Group became the steward of Kyoto Chanokura K.K., a long-established tea company based in Kyoto, welcoming it as a wholly owned subsidiary.
Founded in 1818, Kyoto Chanokura has spent more than two centuries wholesaling, retailing, and processing tea and tea products in Kyoto. This marks the first heritage company to join Ibuki Group. Following the transition, Kyoto Chanokura's employees remain in their positions, and the company will continue its operations as before.
